Group Boyfriend to attract overseas fans with a surprise makeover.
Boyfriend are informing that they are taking mission photos of modern style for the recent Mnet ‘Boyfriend’s W Academy’ recording to attract overseas fans.
According to Mnet, the day’s mission was directed by the leader Donghyun and the exceptional cuts were expected to attract attention. Donghyun did the various concept styles of beastly, conventional and has directly coordinated the members himself and showed his hidden fashion sense.
In addition, before the day of the broadcast, the individual members personally directed their own cuts for their own personal styles and were released through UCC which is also accessible for overseas fans.

[NEWS] Boyfriend’s Donghyun Dresses Maknae Minwoo in Drag
The members of Boyfriend dressed up in some outfits fans aren’t used to seeing for their latest recording of their Mnet reality program, “Boyfriend’s W Military Academy.”
Since the program is focused on training Boyfriend to become global idols, the boys were asked to come up with unique, eye-catching concepts that will help their international fans recognize them better.
According to the producers, leader Donghyun styled the members himself in various concepts like “beastly,” ‘rich,’ “gentlemen,” and perhaps the most unique one of them all, “drag” for maknae Minwoo. He eagerly said, “I think he’ll be really pretty if we dress him in drag.”
The boys also styled themselves to express a bit of their personalities. Their individual cuts will be made into UCC videos to be shown to international fans on Global Mnet.
The episode will air on January 27th at 6 PM.

An exclusive interview about a group that will be main artist of a new reality program, Boyfriend.
MNet’s new global project called, “Boyfriend’s W Academy”, become a new Kpop Wave’s fresh air to show a new style of curriculum with various challenge to pass for members.

Idol group Boyfriend are getting ready to usher in the Spring season with their latest pictorial for ‘Vogue Girl‘ magazine.
The boys departed from their typical uniformed look by rocking different styles. Jungmin channeled the ’80s with his loud neon colors, leather jacket, and leopard print pants. On the other hand, Youngminopted for a trendy bookish look, but made it playful by wearing knee-length shorts with a pair of high, colorful socks. Minwoo became the poster boy for a casual student look, and finally Kwangmindonned a cosmopolitan evening style but with a sequinned jacket.

The episode covers a story of a housewife who comes to know about an “idol” group, Boyfriend, and becomes obsessed with it, putting it in her top priority over everything—even her husband and daughter in middle school who often ignored her. The episode renders the story in an interesting way.
According to the production crew, Boyfriend is ready to attract many middle-aged female viewers with its sweet love song and cute looks.

300 of the ‘I’ll Be There‘ CDs contain a one-of-a-kind polaroid photo of the boys.
The photos were taken at different moments while the boys were preparing for their new album, and it is more meaningful to the fans as it is Boyfriend’s way of thanking them for their unwavering love and support for the past 200 days.

Starship Entertainment labelmates K.Will, Boyfriend, and SISTAR recently combined their efforts to complete volunteer work in Seoul.
The girls of SISTAR who were recently honored as ‘ambassadors of energy’ volunteered to help the less fortunate citizens of Youngdeungpo Seoul in an effort to spread positive energy and encouragement. Fellow artists K.Will and Boyfriend also stepped in, distributing coals, visiting the elderly and feeding the homeless.
The eleven singers worked extremely hard and at the end of the day, each had traces of charcoal on their cheeks. Although the weather was cold, they did not lose their spirit or their smiles.

On Sunday the 18th, through the radio broadcast of KBS 2FM “Jeon HyunMoo’s Music Square”, Wonder Girls’ Sohee and Sunye talked about members of Boyfriend, Kwangmin and Youngmin.

Idol group Boyfriend flew to flood-damaged Thailand recently to lend support to their fans.

Recently, 2PM’s Taecyeon revealed his close relations to Boyfriend twins, Youngmin andKwangmin.
On the July 15th broadcast of KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank‘, 2PM came in first place for the third week in a row, and thus received the honorary triple crown award. While 2PM performed their encore stage, fans noted that Taecyeon playfully put the twins in a headlock, which generated quite the buzz. As it turns out, the twins were once former JYP Entertainment trainees!

Starting with last week’s episode of KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘, Boyfriend changed up their choreography for their adorable debut track, “Boyfriend“.Ever since their debut, the boys have been known for their sweet aegyo point dance, but fans were concerned over their image being limited to just one image. In reflection of their concerns, as well as their desire to show something new, the boys decided to change up their choreography to something stronger.
They only had two days to come up with a new routine and rehearse it, but thanks to their pre-debut training, it wasn’t long before they had it all down. Two days later, the boys presented a flawless performance without any mistakes.
Leader Donghyun said, “We practiced really hard for two days. We didn’t pull all-nighters in order to keep up our stamina, but we rehearsed nearly all day long. You’ll be able to see a choreography that’s more powerful and masculine, so we hope you’ll look forward to us.”
