IU admits she found it hard to get close to T-ara’s Jiyeon at first on ‘Star Life Theater’

IU revealed her honest opinion on her first impression of T-ara‘s Jiyeon on the recent filming of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Star Life Theater‘ featuring T-ara.

The two were both born in 1993, but they only greeted each other briefly backstage at music programs until they met in 2010 on the SBS program ‘Heroes‘ and got to know one another. The T-ara members returned to their homes for a period of six months after their previous promotions, and IU was invited to Jiyeon’s place.

IU commented, “I thought [Jiyeon's] room would be filled with pink princess clothes and accessories, but it’s actually pretty plain. It was hard to be friendly with Jiyeon at first because she has the impression of a cold, city woman.”

When IU saw Jiyeon preparing a snack, she remarked, “Please don’t cook. Jiyeon is good at dancing, acting, and a lot of other things, but she’s not a very good cook. I think she’s worse than I am.”

She then added, “When I was first invited to her house, she said she would make me samgyetang, but I talked her out of it.”
